It is recommended to use WAZE to get to Oropéndola.

Oropéndola is located in Pastaza, the largest province of the Ecuadorian Amazon. The Ecuadorian Amazon is a biodiversity hotspot, home to countless species of flora and fauna. It is one of the territories with more water resources, basic for life and, therefore, diversity.

The agro-ecological farm and botanical garden "Oropéndola" is located only 5 hours from Quito. It is located in the community of "Murialdo" in the parish of "Fatima". Oropéndola is 18 km (30min approx) from the center of Puyo (Figure 1).

Access to "Oropéndola" is via the Troncal Amazónica (E45) and then taking a secondary road, which is paved and in good condition. It is necessary to take the Troncal Amazónica until reaching the Fátima parish (12.9km Puyo-Fátima or 67.5km Tena-Fátima).

Once in Fátima, take the detour (located in front of the parish's central park) towards the villages of "Murialdo" and "La Libertad". The Fatima-Murialdo road is 6 km long until you reach "Oropéndola", which is located on the right side of the road (Figure 2).
